Explora Tip
Don’t rule out “positioning flights” when flying.
For example- a flight from Miami to Reykjavik can be expensive and infrequent- about $1300 round trip with about 2 daily departures. BUT a flight New York City to Iceland can be cheaper and have more departures throughout the day. The price from JFK to Iceland is about $700. Add on the cost of the Miami to NYC flight for only $100, which leaves hourly, and you now cut your flight costs by about $500. But be sure to space the two separate flights with enough time to leave for any hiccups.
